Follow our step by step guide and turn your smartphone into a gps device. Use Google Maps App to navigate easily turn-by-turn with your road bike on the street of Crete
Open on your smart phone device the google maps app
Tap on search field to write your destination place
Choose from the list the place you want to go
Press directions button
Press start button
Follow route on map, hear voice directions and Alerts. If you want to stop press Exit.
Attention: Because Cycling navigation is not available in Crete you have to choose the Driving navigation . In order to avoid highways and follow the route as we recommend it you have to go from place to place as we give it to you with our Google maps turn by turn navigation
For example: if you want to do the Mochos classic bike tour and you start from Hersonissos you have to search first for Avdou. When you arrive at Avdou search for Mochos. When you arrive at Mochos search for Stalis and then back to your start place.
If you want to add all destinations at once, go to the top right and tap More and then Add stop. You can add up to 9 places. When you are finished, tap Done.
Tips:
Use a power bank if the battery of your mobile phone is not strong enough Do not use routes shown in gray on the map.
