Weather
Crete in November sees the island transition to a milder, more autumnal climate. Expect average daily temperatures around 14-20°C. While there's still a good chance of sunny days, rainfall increases, so a light jacket is advisable. The sea remains relatively warm for the brave, around 19-20°C.
March marks the start of spring, with temperatures gradually rising to 13-19°C. The island awakens with blooming wildflowers. While occasional showers are possible, sunshine hours increase, offering pleasant conditions for exploring. The sea is still cool, around 16°C. Both months offer a quieter, more authentic Cretan experience away from the crowds.
